Picchi di Pablo (Pablo’s Peaks) is one of the most popular dive sites off Elba Island. It offers great biodiversity and is recommended for advanced divers that can explore everything it has to offer.
The name comes from the two pinnacles that sit on a rock that reaches a depth of 35 meters/115 feet. on the sandy bottom, you’ll find huge red gorgonians that hide scorpionfish. At the bottom, the rock opens into a large cave inhabited by shrimps.
The nooks and crannies of the wall hide many other creatures, such as moray eels and invertebrates, as well as red and yellow sea fans. Divers may also spot amberjacks, snappers, and even the rare moonfish.
