Orda Cave is the biggest underwater Gypsum cave and one of the longest underwater caves in the world.
Located underneath the Ural Mountains, its galleries stretch up to 5 kilometers (over 3 miles), with new grottos and passageways being discovered every year. Orda Cave's stalactites are estimated to be 10,000 years old.
Orda Cave's clear waters have a visibility of up to 50 meters (150 feet) thanks to the gypsum rock filtering the water.
The water is extremely cold, averaging about 4 degrees Centigrade ( 40 degrees Fahrenheit), making dry suits a necessity.
In order to dive Orda Cave, divers need proper training in cave, sidemount, and dry suit diving.
