Maya Corner is located on the west side of Koh Phi Phi Lei, in an area renowned for being the location of the popular movie “The Beach” starring Leonardo Di Caprio.
The dive starts inside the bay with the same name, at the northern entrance, and follows the coastline north. The best part is at 16-18 meters/52-59 feet on the northwest point where you can enjoy a swim-through and a steep wall. There’s also a cavern at the southwest point that can be explored by certified wreck divers.
As for the marine life, Maya Corner is home to various species of turtles - such as green and hawksbill, stingrays, and blacktip reef sharks.
You can dive here all year round. Recommended for all divers as well as snorkelers.
