La Xinxa, off L'Escala in Girona, is one of the best shallow dives in the area. It features a small rocky formation rising from 11 meters (36 feet). The rock ends in two peaks one of which peaks above the water.
To the east, you can also find a series of boulders that created some interesting passageways between them. Here, marine creatures like octopus and lobsters like to hide. To the north, the rock ends with a shelf and to the east, you can see the smaller peak. Here, you can find a small tunnel filled with coral and sponges.
Depth at La Xinxa ranges from 8 to 20 meters (26-66 feet) and is suitable for divers of all levels. visibility is around 10 meters (30 feet).
