Kovanli is a dive site located off the island of Kovanli Adasi in the Mediterranean. What makes this dive special are the artifacts found underwater: amphorae – some whole and some broken – but also stone anchors and large metal anchors.
You’ll also find shoals of fish like hornet fish and red mullets as well as nudibranchs.
The maximum depth at Kovanli is 40 meters/130 feet and you enter by boat. Beware of the currents; they can be quite powerful.
