Gili Biaha is a small underwater island which makes for a fantastic dive site catering to advanced divers looking for an adrenaline-infused drift dive.
The island features an abundance of soft and hard corals, gorgonians, sponges and many different types of reef fish, ranging from moray eels, wrasses, tunas and barracudas to crustaceans such as spiny lobsters and other animals such as octopus, cuttlefish and turtles.
There are also high chances of spotting whitetip reef sharks, as they are usually found under an overhang in the blowhole wall.
The depth here ranges from 6 to 40 meters and the cold currents lower the water temperature up to 20 degrees Centigrade, so divers need to make sure they are wearing an appropriate wetsuit.
