Eagle Ray Pass is a wall dive site located on the north side of Grand Cayman. The site features a deep crevice (pass) where you can enter and dive down the wall. Once you exit the crevice/pass, you will swim along the wall and go back to the top. As the name suggests, this is a great spot to encounter eagle rays.
The average depth at Eagle Ray Pass is 16 meters/52 feet and the maximum depth is 30 meters/98 feet. Good visibility.
This spot is suitable for experienced divers. You can dive here all year round, but the best conditions are found from April to October.
Eagle Ray Rock is located in the southwestern part of Grand Cayman and consists of tall coral mountains rising from a sandy bottom. The wall slopes from 21 meters/70 feet to the drop off at 40 meters/130 feet.
The canyons and swim-throughs here make this a fun dive, and the tall red finger corals, large tube sponges, and colorful tropical fish are perfect subjects for underwater photography.
Recommended for experienced divers. The currents may be strong at times.
