Cueva de los Cerebros is just a short boat ride from San Juan beach pier. It consists of a cave found at a depth of about 14 meters/45 feet. the cave was formed by volcanic activity and has different exists to the surface. Inside the cave, divers can find some strange brain-shaped sponges which earned the grotto the name of “Cave of the Brains” (cerebros = brains).
Some of the marine life you can spot here include rays, moray eels, crayfish, prawns, shrimps, crabs, and anemones.
