Coral Garden is a great dive site for beginner divers and snorkelers. It is relatively shallow, with a depth of only 10 meters/33 feet, but nonetheless full of underwater attractions. Divers can observe beautiful corals, moray eels, lionfish, flatworms, rare crabs, nudibranchs, ghost pipefish, frogfish, and lots of small tropical fish. This colorful and easy dive will even appeal to underwater photographers.
Diving in Puerto Galera is available year-round, with water temperatures ranging from 23° C/73° F in December to 29° C/84° F during summer. Water visibility is typically very good. Be aware of the occasional strong currents in the area.
