Follow the road around to the last lot of parking bays at Bass point. Unfortunately there is just under 80 stairs to get down to this site, these are a killer on the way back up but the dive is well worth it. It is very easy to navigate this site. Head towards the East on the way out and West on the way back. Enter from the shore at the bottom of the stairs, drop down in about 2 meters and follow either the right or left hand side. It narrows around the middle and then drops down to around 20 metres once you pass through the narrow channel into the outer 'bowl' (it is pretty much a figure 8). Again following the wall around and once you start to feel the surge of the open ocean, start to head back to the West. Exploring the sandy area can bring a few surprise findings. To see, there was a huge array of fish as well as Grey Nurse Sharks, Port Jackson Sharks, Crested Horn Sharks, Spotted Wobbies, Southern Eagle Ray and a very rare sighting of a Sandy-back Stingaree.
