Boka Bartol, located in Washington Slagbaai National Park, is Bonaire’s most northerly dive site. It is one of the hidden gems of the area, which is why the corals here are healthy and divers can often encounter species larger than those on other dive sites.
At Boka Bartol, you can spot eagle rays, large sea turtles, barracudas, hermit crabs, eels, and many other sea creatures.
This spot is recommended for experienced divers because of the strong currents that sweep by. The maximum depth is 27 meters, or 88 feet.
The best diving conditions in Bonaire can be experienced during the dry season, which runs from April to November.
