Arraia Reef is an interesting dive site in the Azores with both a rocky bottom and a large sandy area that gets progressively deeper. It has easy access right from the shore and the maximum depth is only 14 meters/45 feet, making it perfect for divers of all levels.

The diversity of species in this area is remarkable. You can see all sorts of marine life, including different species of wrasses, triggerfish, damselfish, moray eels, rays, octopuses, and large schools of fish during summer as well as critters such as nudibranchs.
