Arguineguin Reef is a 700-meter-long-/2,297-foot-long reef full of crevices and with a deep overhang. It lies at a depth of 14 meters/43 feet and is home to species such as stingrays, brown rays, sea turtles, trumpetfish, cardinalfish, porcupine fish, scorpionfish, sardines, drums, grunts, cuttlefish, moray eels, nudibranchs, and cleaner shrimps.
The best diving conditions at Arguineguin Reef are found from May to October. The water temperature stays relatively warm in winter, reaching up to 18° C/64° F. During summer, water temperature averages 25° C/77° F.
The great conditions and relatively shallow depth make this dive spot suitable for divers of all levels.
