Anau is a popular dive site in Bora Bora. The dive starts in a garden of beautiful corals, but the corals are not the main thing that draws divers here.
The biggest highlight is the opportunity to dive among the majestic manta rays. These large animals come here to feed, get cleaned, and relax. You’ll usually see at least five animals on this channel. The best time to come here is May through December, during manta season.
You can dive at Anau only in the morning, as the site is now protected. The site is accessible to all divers and has a maximum depth of 25 meters/82 feet.
