AQUAMANIA, is a PADI Scuba Dive Centre based in the Vaal Triangle, South Africa providing training, gear sales, servicing, traveling and a very active social diving group. Conrad Lamont, the founder of AQUAMANIA, qualified as a PADI Open Water Diver in January 1996. After 12 years and many underwater adventures he met his lovely wife Fiona on a Bass Lake dive and together they decided to start a social scuba diving club. The rest as they say is history. In 2011 Conrad fulfilled his lifelong dream of qualifying as a PADI instructor. Since then AQUAMANIA has grown from a small scuba diving club arranging one or two trips a year, to a fully operational dive school with a dive shop, hosting two charity dive events a year, and organizing more than just a few trips. AQUAMANIA has been a DAN Business Member since 2008, and as of February 2014 we are very proud to be a certified PADI Dive Centre, the only one in the Vaal Triangle. AQUAMANIA is a family orientated dive school that prides itself on quality rather than quantity. We prefer to keep our classes small and place our passion for the sport into our training. Our aim is to produce good, safe and responsible divers. Our team members are calm, caring and knowledgeable and strive to train, assist and prepare divers to the best of their abilities.With our passion for diving we also run a very active social club, with both divers and non- divers alike joining us for various activities and adventures. We host two major charity events annually, namely the Dive-A-Thon and the Ice Breaker. We are committed to providing a professional service, to teach according to the International PADI standards and to promote safe and fun scuba diving.
