VEENMEER Nederland, Drenthe Easy dive site The Veenmeer is a well known dive site in the north part of the Netherlands. Therefore it can be quite busy on weekends. Other than that all conditions for an enjoyable dive are available. The Veenmeer has reasonable dive facilities, good visibility and a large variety of fish and objects. Diving is only possible in combination with a stay at the campsite (starting from 2021). Look for prices and opening hours on the website of camping 't Veenmeer. Sign up in advance. Particulars Enter the water from one of the entry points. Then take a look in the house of 'Aaltje' if you want to spot a big pike. Don't forget to visit the steep wall on the north side as well, with its large colony of crayfish. Warnings Diving in 't Veenmeer is only possible in combination with a camping site (starting from 2021). Book a place to dive. 't Veenmeer can be busy in the weekend. Sign up in advance.
