Descripción
Lockheed L-1011 TriStar plain wreck was sank in Aqaba in 2019 as a new artificial reef. It is between 15-28m depth, easy for AOWD divers. However it is close to the beach it is only available from boat, the cost next to the wreck is closed. The plain was originally registered as CS-TMP. All of its doors are removed (so open) to dive in the plain safety. There is amazing to dive along the wreck between the seats (middle-seats are also removed to easy the dive inside). It is also possible to view the pilot cabin as well. Originally it was a 3-engine plane, but two engines from the wings are removed. Third engine is mounted to the rear fuselage, where there is an exceptional view to dive into the place of the engine.
