Abu Hashish Lagoon is a dive site that can be accessed by boat and can be explored by novice divers at Open Water level as well. It can go to a maximum depth of 30 meters, but it has excellent visibility and little to no current.
Divers here can spot barracudas, jacks, moray eels, squid, mackarel, groupers, various types of rays such as blue spotted rays or feather tail rays, and even hammerhead sharks.
