As the name suggests, Whitetip Alley is a great spot for observing whitetip reef sharks. These large creatures can be as big as 2 meters long. Other types of sharks such as bamboo sharks and catsharks can also be spotted here.

The underwater topography is interesting, with several swim-throughs, drop-offs, and overhangs. The corals are healthy and abound with life. Some of the other animals you can encounter here include lionfish, scorpionfish, sea snakes, seahorses, nudibranchs, spider crabs, and shrimps.

Whitetip Alley has a maximum depth of 40 meters/131 feet and is suitable for advanced divers. the best time to visit the area is March to May when the diving conditions are at their best.
