The Catalina Aquarium dive site is located on the west side of Catalina Island. The dive starts at about 8 meters (26 feet) and descends to more than 12 meters (40 feet). The site features a colorful reef with different species of coral and fish life.

Some of the creatures you can encounter here include rays, moray eels, lobsters, lionfish, sea horses, among others.

Diving is possible all year round but the best time to come here is February to November. The water temperature varies between 26° and 29° C/79°-84° F. Visibility is good and the currents are low. The Aquarium can be dived by divers of all levels.
