Big Tunnels

Dive site in
Improve

Big Tunnels is one of the best dive sites in Grand Cayman. It features a limestone pinnacle and a big tunnel. You enter the tunnel through a hole in the top of the reef and navigate it as you slowly descend to the edge of the wall. At the exit, you’ll see a huge coral archway that opens up to a depth of 32 meters/105 feet onto a sheer wall.

Marine life: horse-eyed jacks, silversides, spotted eagle rays, green turtles, Hawksbill turtles, pufferfish, snappers, tarpon, as well as brain coral, black coral, star coral, barrel sponges, orange tube sponges, sea fans, sea whips, and colonies of anemones.

A wonderful site for underwater photographers! Lots to see, explore, and photograph.
